This was a great back pack for back to school. The main area was the perfect size for all the textbooks and still had room for a 3 ring binder or all the notebooks and folders for the subjects. You could easily fit a small laptop in this bag as well. The zippers glide easily for younger kids. I like this because they are able to get their stuff packed up quickly and not get flustered trying to open their bag when they are in a hurry. The lunch box and zipper pouch are cute accessories. The lunch box held a sandwich, 2 pieces of fruit, a juice pouch, and a bag of crackers easily. The sandwich was a little smashed, the banana had a couple small bruises, and the crackers were pretty well protected in the 4 hours between assembling and consuming. The zipper pouch was perfect for colored pencils, crayons, markers or anything that you would want to keep in a set, but travel with you.
